The Museum collection currently contains more than 16,000 artifacts and 22,000 photographs. The Society also maintains and preserves important local historical sites. These include Heritage Hall, which was built in 1927, the Rebecca Dallis School House a 1930s-era African-American school, and the Historical Cemetery on south Peart Road. |
Museum & Exhibits |
The Historical Society Museum is recognized as one of the best small museums in Arizona. New exhibits are developed annually as we attempt to provide a comprehensive look at our history, our people, and our heritage. We also provide temporary exhibits and exhibits at offsite locations in the community. |

Researchers, including government agencies, businesses, authors, educators, and students, utilize our reference collection and research materials. The local newspaper consults our archives frequently to supplement its own historical records. In addition, the Historical Society publishes periodic scholarly journals. |
